Out Sick

(Minister Well Newsletter, January 2018)

As much as I would like to deny the febrile chills that kept me up last night or the fact that I’m wearing a jacket in the house right now, the reality is I’m sick. But, I have a Minister Well newsletter to write and post today. So, here’s the rub. I could push myself to write a well-researched and well-considered newsletter on a chosen topic. Or I could practice what I preach about self-care by being transparent about being sick and still wanting to provide a meaningful newsletter. I suppose the real question is – Can I trust, can you trust, the Lord when He says, “My power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Cor. 12:9)?

Challenge

  • Trust Him enough to rest.

Wishing you good health – mind, body, and spirit.

In Him,

Heather Clark, Ph.D.
